Webler respects your privacy. This page explains which personal data this website collects, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. It applies to webler.be and to every form on it.

Who we are

This website is operated by Webler, established at Rubensstraat 66, 2300 Turnhout, Belgie, registered under company number BE 0736.529.116. Webler is the controller for the personal data collected through this website. Questions about this policy? E-mail info@webler.be.

Which data we collect

Contact form

When you fill in the contact form, we process the data you enter yourself: your name, e-mail address and message and, if you fill them in, your company, phone number, the services you are interested in and your budget. We also store the IP address from which the form was sent and the page it was sent from, to prevent abuse.

Technical data

Like every website, our hosting environment automatically records technical data in server logs: IP address, browser type, time of the visit and the pages requested. We use this data only for security and for solving technical problems.

Google Fonts

The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When they load, your browser sends your IP address to servers of Google LLC (USA), which processes it under its own privacy policy. We rely on our legitimate interest in a fast and consistent display of the site.

Cookies

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site only sets strictly necessary cookies, for example when you log in to the administration. For visitors, the site sets no cookies that require consent.

Why we process your data, and on which basis

• To answer your question or project request and to prepare a proposal: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To keep the site secure and working: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To meet legal obligations, such as accounting retention periods once you become a client (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep your data

Messages sent through the contact form are kept for at most two years after the last contact, unless a collaboration follows; in that case the legal retention periods for client records and invoices apply. Server logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf and are contractually bound to do so: our hosting provider and our e-mail provider, which delivers your message to our mailbox. Apart from Google Fonts (see above), no data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer does take place, we rely on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive your data in a common format. Send your request to info@webler.be; we answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.

Security

The site runs entirely over a secure connection (HTTPS). Form messages are stored in a protected part of the administration that is only accessible to Webler staff with a personal login.

We update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date below indicates the latest version.
