Fifteen modules,one system,our own.

WPStack is the product we built for ourselves: one WordPress plugin with fifteen modules, one settings panel and one licence, so every site we ship starts with the same solid base. This very website runs on it. Here is what we built, and where it goes next.

Context

Why we built it.

Every WordPress site we delivered started the same way: a form plugin, a custom fields plugin, an SMTP plugin, a cookie banner, a login hardener, a backup tool, a media optimiser. Seven to ten plugins from seven to ten vendors, each with its own settings screen, update rhythm, licence and way of breaking.

For a client it meant a cluttered dashboard and a monthly update chore. For us it meant supporting tools we did not control, and explaining to clients why plugin A stopped working with plugin B. We wanted one system we knew inside out, built to one standard, that we could put on every site and stand behind.

So we built it. WPStack is that system: one plugin, modules you switch on per project, one shared settings panel, and a dashboard clients understand. It runs on our own site and on the client sites we maintain.

Approach

What we built.

01

One core, fifteen modules

A single plugin that installs the core system and a modules panel. Forms, Fields, Filter, Reviews, Classic Editor, Booking, Events, Users, Media, Backup, Chat, Connect, Login, SMTP and GDPR, each built to the same standard and sharing one settings panel.

02

Only what you switch on loads

Modules are activated per site from the dashboard. A disabled module never loads on the front end, so a site with three modules on is as light as a site with three plugins, not fifteen.

03

Works with any builder

Every module renders through native shortcodes and widgets, so it drops into Elementor, Bricks, Divi, Oxygen or the block editor without a bridge plugin, and a site can switch builders without losing data.

04

The modules a business actually needs

Not the flashy ones: reliable e-mail with a full log, cookie consent with real script blocking and Consent Mode, a branded login with brute-force protection, backups and migration in one archive, WebP and media cleanup.

05

Chat, callbacks and bookings in one bubble

The Chat module puts WhatsApp, call-me-back, a contact form and live chat in one floating bubble; Booking and Events handle appointments, seat pools, Stripe checkout and QR tickets from the same dashboard.

06

Your site in your pocket

Connect is the companion app: chats, callbacks, form entries and bookings from every WPStack site arrive on your phone, so a small team never misses a lead.

The modules

Fifteen modules, one standard.

01

Forms

Drag-and-drop form builder with spam protection and entry management.

02

Fields

Custom fields for any post type: text, media, repeaters and more.

03

Filter

Let visitors filter posts, products and listings in real time.

04

Reviews

Embed Google-review widgets with no API key: layouts, styles and a shortcode.

05

Classic Editor

Bring back the familiar editor and switch off the block editor.

06

Booking

Appointments, availability and reminders, all from the dashboard.

07

Events

Ticketed events and courses with a seat pool, Stripe checkout and QR tickets.

08

Users

Custom roles, per-role admin menu control and a login activity log.

09

Media

Regenerate sizes, convert to WebP, clear out unused files and sort media into folders.

10

Backup

Back up and migrate in one archive: export the site, restore it here or move it to another server.

11

Chat

Floating bubble: WhatsApp, call-me-back, a contact form and live chat.

12

Connect

Run your site from your phone: chats, callbacks, forms and bookings in one app.

13

Branded login page, brute-force protection and redirects out of the box.

14

SMTP

Send every WordPress email through your SMTP server, with a full email log.

15

GDPR

Cookie consent with real script blocking, Consent Mode v2 and a consent log.

Result

What's next.

WPStack is live and in daily use, and it keeps growing in the direction of the teams that use it: agencies and freelancers who run many sites. The next steps on the roadmap are an agency dashboard to manage every client site, licence and update from one place, deeper Connect app features so a whole team can work from their phones, and a marketplace of ready-made module presets so a new site is configured in minutes instead of an afternoon.

Alongside that, the module library keeps expanding where clients ask for it, and every module keeps its promise: one standard, one settings panel, no lock-in. Want to run your client sites on it? Talk to us, or try it at wpstack.io.
