A catalogue thatinstallers actuallyuse.

CDVI Benelux distributes CDVI Group's access control, locking, door automation and biometric products to installers across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Hundreds of products, dozens of trainings and a support desk: the website had to make all of it easy to find, in Dutch and French.

Context

The brief.

CDVI Benelux is the Benelux arm of CDVI Group, a manufacturer of access control, electronic locking, door automation and biometric readers. Its customers are installers and integrators who need to find the right product fast, check the specs, register for a training and get technical help, often from a van between two jobs.

The previous site was organised the way the company was organised, not the way an installer thinks. Product ranges were hard to compare, trainings lived in a separate tool and the French-speaking half of the market got a thinner version of the content.

The new site needed a clear product architecture, a training calendar people can book from, a knowledge centre that explains the technology, and a fully bilingual experience in Dutch and French, all on a platform the CDVI team updates daily.

Approach

What we did.

01

A product architecture built with installers

We mapped the full catalogue with the CDVI team, from online access control to power supplies and accessories, into categories that follow how installers search. Every product page lists what is in the box, the specs and the related items.

02

Trainings you can book in two clicks

Upcoming trainings sit right on the home page with date, location and availability. Full sessions say so, and registration happens on the site instead of by email.

03

A knowledge centre that sells by explaining

Plain-language guides on access control, biometrics, door automation and electronic locking give installers arguments for their own customers and bring in search traffic.

04

Dutch and French as equals

Both languages share one structure and one content workflow, so a product, training or article goes live in both at the same time.

05

Support one click away

The installer support centre, software downloads, the My CDVI app and the direct phone number are reachable from every page, because a question at four o'clock on a job site cannot wait.

06

Designed for the brand, not against it

CDVI blue, generous white space, angled section edges and real product photography give the catalogue a clean, confident look that matches the group's international sites.

The work

Up close.

Result

The outcome.

cdvibenelux.com is now the working tool of the CDVI Benelux sales, training and support teams and of the installers they serve: one catalogue, one training calendar and one knowledge base, in two languages, updated daily by the team itself.

Product launches, new sessions and spotlight promotions go live in minutes, and the support centre answers the questions that used to come in by phone.
